Career options for Engineers

Visakhapatnam, Aug 26th: The TIME in association with The Hindu Education Plus will organize a free seminar -‘Career options for Engineering Students’ - on August 30 at Kalavani Auditorium, Port Stadium. The session will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The seminar is aimed to help the engineering students chart a successful career and to give answers to many an unanswered question that clouds their minds.

Director of TIME Arunava Chaudhuri said various options like GRE test, subject GRE test, GATE, GMAT, CAT and other management entrance examinations, TOEFL, IELTS, Civil Services and other examination options and job opportunities including Bank PO Tests etc., will be dealt with in the seminar.

The session will address various queries like ‘should I join MBA or M.Tech after graduation, which college to join, what specialization to take, what discipline to take, what are various examinations in India and abroad and how to prepare for them, study abroad and what are the various job options?’

The seminar will be addressed by the founder director of TIME and IIM-A alumnus Manek Daruwalla, Directors of TIME - Vizag J.V. Murty and Arunava Chaudhuri and other eminent persons from the industry. The seminar will be inaugurated by the Commissioner of Police N. Sambasiva Rao, who has also consented to address the students.
