Sambhamurthy Nagar, Dec 21st: An awareness medical camp on cancer was organized by Reliance club Kakinada, at Elwinpet Janapriya School on Sunday. A.S.N Bhavani, Pesident of the Reliance Club Mellinium organized the program to bring awareness among the people about cancer.
Retired professor of Rangaraya Medical College, Dr Shiva Shankar has participated in the program and initiated the distribution of Pamphlets to the people. He said cancer can be cured in the initial stage and the technology has been developed in the recent years. He asked the cancer victims not to depress with the decease and to go for regular checkups with out fail so that the decease can be cured to a larger extend.
Regional chairman Gollapalli Rama Rao was the chief guest of the program. Speaking on the occasion he said that more such awareness camps to be organized in schools and slums to create awareness among the people and asked the nursing students to extend their help in creating awareness.
