Tadepalligudem, Sep 9th: Congress supporters led by former MLA Kottu Satyanarayana demanded the naming of the upcoming horticulture university, an airport and a flyover after the former chief minister Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy as a gesture of paying tributes to his commitment for the welfare of the state. Taking part in condolence meeting, the Congress leaders passed a resolution for naming the first horticulture university in South India coming up at Venkataramannagudem after YSR. They also demanded honoring him with Bharat Ratna award.
The leaders also decided to set up a bronze statue of YSR to pay tributes for the contribution he made for the developing the state. Earlier, taking part in the meeting for Arogya Sri Mr. Pithani Satyanarayana felt the need to appoint Kadapa MP Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy as the chief minister to help continue the schemes and projects initiated by his father.
