Central and State Ministers on Sunday visited the flood affected areas in Kakinada city due to heavy downpour from continuous three days. Union Minister of State for Defence, Mr. MM Pallam Raju, State Social Welfare Minister Mr. Pilli Subash Chandra Bose, Kakinada City MLA Mr. Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy, Kakinada Corporation Special Officer & Joint Collector Mr. K.Sasidhar visited Ayodhyanagar, Sambamurthy Nagar, Dummulapeta and other areas that were affected. They advised officials that the victims must be shifted to rehabilitation center as soon as possible. Food and other basic facilities must be arranged for the victims they added. Kakinada Corporation Commissioner, Mr. GSN Murthy stated that food packets were being distributed to the victims. Special officer, Joint Collector, Mr. K.Sasidhar stated that four rehabilitation centers have been arranged in city at Mutthanagar, Ayodhyanagar, Pratap Nagar and Annam Ghati center.
