Kakinada, Dec 6th: Following the call given by the Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) for a 48 hour Telangana bandh, commencing from Saturday midnight, the RTC management canceled all express and luxury bus services to Hyderabad. Due to this several people experienced trouble on Sunday at the main RTC depots in East Godavari district.

Some other passengers canceled their journey to Hyderabad after witnessing the terror attacks by agitators that took place on Saturday at various places in Hyderabad. RTC East Godavari regional manager Mr. Jagadeesh Babu told that following the incidents, 37 buses of nine depots in the district were withdrawn from service and this would leave the region with an operational loss of over Rs 3 lakh on Sunday alone.
