Rajahmundry, May 6th: APSRTC is going to facilitate its customers to book tickets online. With this facility the passengers will be relieved from waiting in huge serpentine queues for hours at booking counters. They can directly book their tickets through internet in advance without walking in to the bus stations for the same. Last year RTC has provided this facility only through selected bus stations and through traveling agents. But now the facility was made easier by introducing separate website.
Through this website the customers can book their tickets online by using credit cards. According to the Rajahmundry RTC regional manager, Y. Jagadeshbabu, this online booking will also help the authorities to run additional buses if needed during the seasons depending on the rush. Customers can call 12666 for further enquires about the services. The non locals can utilize this facility by using their corresponding codes.
