Bridge loans to complete houses

Rajahmundry, July 5th: The Chief Minister Y.S Raja Shekar Reddy directed the authorities to extend bridge loans of Rs 20,000 to beneficiaries of the houses to help them complete construction. He asked the housing authorities to complete houses meant for SC’s and ST’s which were stated before commencement of the Indiramma housing scheme in East Godavari.

 

The CM held a review meet with officials here on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, he learnt about several incomplete houses pending for completion for various reasons. Out of the 29,000 houses taken up for construction earlier, nearly 22,000 houses were completed while the remaining 7,000 houses are yet to be completed.

 

During the state level collector’s conference held in Hyderabad in June, the state government had taken the decision to extend bridge loans worth Rs 20,000 to houses sanctioned under the Indiramma phase II and III also, in addition to the allocation of Rs 34,250 for each unit to help beneficiaries complete construction.
