Boy kidnapped, demand for Rs 25lakh

Kakinada, May 25th: A six year old boy M. Abhishek was kidnapped on Monday. The news became attention-grabbing as he was the grand son of both former DGP (Director General of Police), M.S Raju and famous children specialist of Mamatha Nursing Home, Dr. D.V K Raju. Parents of Abhishek, M. Ravi and Aparna are in medical profession and work in a local nursing home in Elwinpeta.

The kidnap took place while Abhishek was returning home after attending summer training classes at Nagamallithota Junction. Immediately after hearing the news, parents of the abducted boy informed the same to the police. Police filed the case and started probing for the boy. According to the information given by the police, Kidnappers contacted boy’s parents through phone and are allegedly demanding Rs 25 lakh to release the boy.
