Kakinada, Feb 9th: United Teachers Federation (UTF) president, Mr Cherukuri Subash Chandra Bose lost the MLC election for the second time. In the elections during 2007, Mr. Bose lost the MLC seat over the opponent and former MLC Mr. N Shesha Reddy over a margin of 426 votes. This time he lost the seat over his rival Mr. Chaitanya Raju over a margin of 313 votes. Sources reveal that the over confidence among the UFT cadre made them loose the elections for the second time.
All the UTF leaders and members are making assessments over their failure. Even after their whole hearted effort they could not make Mr. Bose win the elections. Few of the UTF leaders said that the votes were distributed among the other opponents Mr. Ijjana satyanarayana, Mr. Appara Rao and others due to which they lost the polls. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Bose revealed that the congress party has brought pressure on the teachers to win the elections.
