Citizens of Kakinada were facing lot of problems for obtaining birth and death certificates in civil service department of Municipal Office. Municipal Commissioner, Mr. Ravi Kumar took action to overcome this kind of problems. Earlier, payment of challan was allowed only once in a day and now actions have been taken to allow challan payment twice a day. Staff and equipments will be increased for this process. Commissioner said to news line that candidates born after year 1990 could apply and receive the certificate within two days. Certificates can be provided within three days for candidates born before 1990. He stated that minimum 200 applications for Birth and death certificates are submitted regularly. From now, all the information will be made available online.
