The State Minister for Stamps and Registrations, Mr. Thota Narasimham paid rich tribute to the former Deputy Prime Minister and Dalit Leader Babu Jagjivan Ram to mark his 104th Birth anniversary. These celebrations took place here on Tuesday , under the observation of District Social Welfare Department. Speaking on this, Chief guest Mr. Thota Narasimham said that the country is proud to have such a great leader for his valuable service to the people. He stressed that Babu Jagjivan Ram had set an example for others in the field of politics and social service. Mr. Narasimham and others offered garlands to the statue of Babu Jagjivan Ram near Balaji Cheruvu Centre. Zilla Parishad Chairman Mr. Ch.Venugopala Krishna, Collector Mr. M.Ravi Chandra, Joint Collector Mr. K.Sasidhar, Admin SP Mr. S.J.Janardhan and other leaders addressed in the public meeting organized at statue of Babu Jagjivan Ram. Leaders of other political parties also offered floral tributes. According to this, AJC Mr. B.Ramarao, Additional DMHO Mr. Pavan Kumar, Mr. Subbarao, Mr. Mummidivarapu Subbarao, D.R.O Mr. Venkatrao, R.D.O Mr. Kishore Kumar, Dalit Leaders and Students also offered their floral tributes.
