Chatra Karthik, student from Sai Aditya Engineering College, Surampalem achieved an award as best actor in State level acting competitions. He received this award in Nallamilli Moolareddy Acting Kala Parishat competitions. The award was known as memorial award in the name of Late Actor Prasada Murthy and Karthik was the first person to receive this award. He played as the main role in ‘Kshanam Prema Chalu’ of Sri Sai Karthik Creations (Kakinada). This play attained an award as second best play and Karthik as best actor.
