Ex President of Kakinada TDP party Mr. Dusarlapudi RamanaRaju demanded that basic reforms should be introduced in Police department. Government has not allocated separate budget for police welfare still now, he added. He reminded that for every one lakh people there should be 222 police as per Rajya Samiti. Police are not recruited in that level and are continuing to maintaing by assigning excess work to the present force, he added. As a result they are pulled into mental stress, he added. He demanded to repair all the police stations and to increase the salaries of Home Guards.
