Kakinada, Dec 23rd: 5th Andhra Pradesh Senior Baseball Championship was grandly inaugurated at Rangaraya Medical College Grounds here on Wednesday. Kakinada city MLA, Dwarampudi Chandra Shekar Reddy and Anaparthi MLA N. Shesha Reddy attended as the chief guest for the inauguration program. Speaking on the occasion Dwarampudi said that it was very appreciative opinion to organize the championship in the district in the peak time of game loosing its identity.
MLA Shesha Reddy also presided over the meeting. Dwarampudi flagged the national flag and inaugurated the program. He introduced the sports persons who participated in the competitions from 16 districts. Nearly 300 sports-persons and 50 PETs took part in the competitions. BJP senior leader Pydah Krishna Mohan, Srirangu Sitaram, District Baseball Association president Saibaba ans many more took part in the inaugural function.
