Election polling for Kakinada Bar Association was conducted at Kakinada Bar Association Hall here on Friday from 8am to 5pm. Out of 768 voters, only 612 votes were polled. Later, counting process was held. Advocates M.Jawahar Ali and K. John Joseph gave heavy competition during counting for President position. Finally, Mr. Jawahar Ali got selected as President for the Association with majority of 6 votes. Mr. Ali got total 308 votes and opposition Mr. Joseph got only 302 votes. Mudragada Veera Babu got 406 votes and got appointed as Secretary. Mr. J.Bala Gangadhar Sharma got appointed as Treasurer with 268 votes. Mr. BV Ramana, CHS Parvatiswarao, Nakka Ramadasu got selected as Senior Executives. Election Officer Mr. GV Krishna Prakasham gave certificates to the selected members.
