As a part of Country wide agitation, all the bank employees participated in a strike yesterday near Andhra Bank Zonal Office at Main road, Kakinada. Mr. Aadhi Narayana Murthy, Convenor of United Forum of Bank Union demanded that Government should desist the polices which feebles the Banking System. They requested to appoint sufficient staff and provide compensation. This agitation will continue till tomorrow. Leaders Mr. P. V Ramana Murthy, Rajendra Nath, Devadas, V. S. N. Murthy, Satyanarayana and Prasad participated in this program.
Postal Department employees participated in a strike yesterday infront of the Head Post Office to achieve their demands in a stage by stage process. They demanded to sanction medical bills and solve the problems of postal village employees. Union President, Mr. Hussain said that 'we shall decide the schedule of next agitation in today's meeting'.
