Badminton Competitions Concluded

Closing ceremony of Ghanshyam Agarwal Memorial AP State Veteran Badminton Championship Competitions was grandly celebrated here on Sunday. The three-day competiions held in association with District Badminton Association has been concluded with finals. Cheif Guests Mr. Pullela Gopi Chand, Puducherry Revenue Department Minister Mr. Malladi Krishnarao and Former MP Mr. Chitturi Ravindra viewed the finals competition of 45+ doubles category. Later, Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra stated that participating in the competitions in the middle age is very much appreciable. He applauded Association Members Chundru Govinda Raju, Nitiin Agarwal and others who organized these competitions. After final match, Collector Mr. Ravi Chandra, Puducherry Revenue Department Minister Malladi Krishnarao and Association Secretary Mr. DAN Varma played shuttle and pleased audience. Winner of the competitions in 35+ Mens Singles is MV Murali Krishna (Vishakapatnam) and in doubles M.Muralivardhan Rao and Sanyasi Rao are winners. In 60+ Men’s Doubles, Ch.Govinda Raju and J.Prakash Ramappa are winners. In Women’s Singles, K.Tanuja (Hyderabad) is winner and in Doubles, N.Vijaya Lakshmi and Pallavi are winners. In 45+ Men’s Singles, KP Naik (Vishakapatnam) is winner and in doubles, Sudhakar Reddy and Rajendra Kumar are winners. In 55+ Men’s Singles, Raja Lingam (Adilabad) is winner and in doubles, K.Ratnam and K.Sagar are winners.
