Anganwadi Ramanayyapeta Urban Sector has conducted an awareness seminar on Mother feeding as a part of Mother's Feed Week Celebrations here on Friday at Godarigunta Ramalayam temple in Kakinada. According to this, ICDS Project Officer K. Jayarani had participated in the program as a chief guest. Speaking on this, she stated that the Mother's breast feeding is the healthiest form of milk for babies. It is very beneficial to baby and the mother. She suggested mothers to feed babies for six months or more, without the addition of infant formula or solid food. She noticed that this is the only food which cannot be purchased/ sold by anyone in the world. Later, Anganwadi Sector Supervisors J. Jessi Florense and Esther had explained about the importance of mother feed. GMR Co-ordinator Mr. M.Sri Ramayya, ANM's Gowri, Vijaya Lakshmi, Bangaru Papa, Anganwadi Secretaries Ayesha Begum, Varalakshmi, Rasheed, Bhaskara Kumari and others participated in the program.
