Kakinada, July 14th: An awareness program on facilities being extended to Christians by the Government of AP was conducted at the City Tabernacle church on Tuesday. The Andhra Pradesh Christian Minority Finance Corporation consultant, Mr. B.A Santhosh and the executive director of the East Godavari branch of the organization Mr. Akram Ali attended the program.
The meet discussed various sops being extended to Christians which include extension of financial assistance to mass marriages, pilgrimage to Israel, financial assistance to construction of churches, various concessions extended to children of Christians, formation of Self-Help Groups and other activities. Several prominent elders including Mr. N.Ch Premadas, Mr. M. Raja Rao, Mr. Isaac Banerji, Dr. P.M Henry, Dr Yesupadam, Mr. M.S Williams, Sister Ester Rani and other Christians attended.
