Rajahmundry, Oct 22nd: Job mela was held at Ramachandrapuram under Rajiv Udyoga Sri sheme on Wednesday. The mela was regarding the job training for unemployed youth for improvement of their skills. The training will be starting from November 1st.
Social welfare minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose, addressing the meeting said the youth to avail the training in various trades in order to get employment under this scheme. He said that the youth will be trained under 14 sections, which may include Auto CAD, Hotel Management, and Computers etc.
Already 5,000 applications were received under this scheme and arrangements were made to give training to 20,000 youth. Collector Dwivedi said that each and every youth who completed the training would certainly get employment, and government was ready to spend nearly 10,000 each for training.
