Andhra University Central Zone Cricket Competitions started here on Saturday at Rangaraya Sports Grounds in Kakinada. These 3-days competitions are conducting in Knockout method between some selected colleges from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakha, East & West Godavari Districts. According to this, Rangaraya Medical College P.D Mr. K.Sparjan Raju presided & started these competitions. Speaking on this, he stated that every one should be encouraged towards sports from student stage. Sports are very essential to every individual for physical & mental fitness. He suggested students that to play games to develop good health & friendly environment between teams but not only for success. Later, Speaking with media persons, Ideal College P.D Mr. Varma stated that Visakha Bullayya College, Gayatri College, Rajahmundry Government College & Bheemili Aninth Engineering colleges came to league stage.
