In association with Athletics Association, District level athletics competitions will be conducted in Rangaraya Medical College grounds on 25th of this month. Athletics Association Secretary L.Chandrakanth said this to news line this Thursday. In Under-14 category, competitions on 50m, 200m, 800m (running, Long jump, High jump, Discus throw) will be conducted for boys and girls. In Under-16 category, 100m, 400m, 800m, 1600m meters(running) and 100m (Hurdles, Long jump, Short put, Javelin throw) competitions will be conducted. In these competitions, 18 best sportsperson selected will be participating in the competitions at Haridwar in the month of October he added.
