Sub Juniors Athletic Championship will be conducted for students from Kakinada Corporation, Kakinada Rural schools in association with Athletic Association. These competitions will be conducted on next month i.e. August 8th, Sunday morning 9am at MSN Chartis High School Grounds. In Under-10 Boys and girls 60 meters, 200 meters running race and long jump will be conducted. In Under-12 boys and girls 80 meters, 600 meters running race, long jump and short put will be conducted. In Under-14 boys and girls 100 meters, 800 meters running race, long jump and short put competitions will be conducted. 5 participants from each school will be selected in Under-10 category and 6 participants from each school will be selected in Under-12, Under-14 competitions. In the purview of City and Rural, students from government, municipal, aided and recognized schools must participate in these competitions said Athletic Association District Educational Officer RS Ganga Bhavani. Responding on these competitions, RS Ganga Bhavani passed orders to Deputy Education officers that maximum number of students participates in these competitions. Interested candidates who are willing to take part in these competitions must submit their names before August 5th to B.Chellarao (P.E.T, MSN Chartis, Jagannaickpur), Y.Bangarraju (P.E.T, ZP High school, Vakalpudi), TS Rangarao (P.E.T, PRG Boys high school). Participants will be provided with food facility.  25th Division Corporator Mr.Jagannadan Vijay Kumar will be secretary and competitions will be conducted in association with Nalam Srinivasa Babu Charitable Trust. Speaking to news line this Wednesday, Athletic Association Secretary L.Chandra Kanth said that winners in these competitions will be given training to participate in District and state level competitions.
