Kakinada, June 11th: Ashada Masa Sambaralu of Sri Talupulamma Ammavaru at Lova near Annavaram will be celebrated from June 23 to July 22. The arrangements for the same are being made under the aegis of Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Devasthanam (Annavaram) executive engineer Mr. Kondala Rao.

 

Expecting huge number of devotees from all parts of the state, particularly from East and west Godavari and north costal districts, the devasthanam authorities are making arrangements for the drinking water supply, and other basic amenities to meet the needs of the devotes. The number of devotees was expected to be a lakh on Sundays and a little lower on the other days.

 

The management sought  help from the Revenue and Police departments to contribute their mite for the smooth conduct of the festival. Close circuit cameras are also arranged in the temple premises to strengthen the security. Devotees were being motivated to concentrate more on spirituality of the festival instead of sacrificing goats and hens, which had been their tradition.

 

Laksha Kunkumarchana’ and ‘Laksha Pushparchana’ would be performed on Sundays. ‘Panchamrutabhishekam’ and ‘Chandi homam’ would be the highlights of the month-long festival. The temple will be decorated with lighting and various folk dance performances will be arranged in this occasion
