Eluru, July 31st: The army recruitment rally will be held at Andhra University Sports Complex in Visakhapatnam from August 3 to 9 for the benefit of the youth interested to join Indian Army. The rally would be held for selection of candidates for soldier technical category on August3. The candidates should complete Intermediate education with subjects like Maths, Physics and Chemistry with the English as first language. For nursing assistant category students who passed inter with 50 percent marks and secured 40 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible.
On August 5, selection will be taken up for soldier general duty category and those who cleared class X with 45 percent marks and secured 32 percent marks in each subject are eligible. On August 6, selection will be taken up for soldier tradesman like chef, barber, safaiwala, tailor, steward and washer man. On August 7, soldier general category with class X pass as minimum educational qualification. On August 8, soldier clerk and store keeper category and the candidates should have intermediate pass with 50 percent marks. All the candidates should appear with all their educational qualifications certificates and residence proof along with passport size photos.
