The district administration is planning to design a logo for East Godavari district, which reflects its history, spiritual, culture and heritage of the district. According to this, Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad has invited applications for designing the district logo on the occasion of Beach Festival (Sagar Utsav), which is to be held from 11th to 13th of January, 2013. She said that interested designers and artists can send their logos & memento designs on or before 26th of December addressed to the Assistant Tourism Officer, Collectorate (or) District Public Relation Officer. She stated that the logo would be selected by a committee and the best one would be displayed in the Beach festival. She noticed that the other best entries also be utilised on mementoes, which would be given to the various dignitaries.
