In association with Sports Department, 54th Annual Sports Day (Arena-2011) was grandly celebrated at Rangaraya Medical College Sports Ground. Medical College Retired Anesthesia Professor Dr.Rao Ranga Rao participated as the chief guest in this program. Speaking on this, Mr. Rao stated that participating in sports would create sportiveness in students. He suggested Medicos to study well and bring good fame to the College. He also appreciated the players who achieved medals in State Level, Inter University Level competitions. Mr. Rao also appreciated Coach Mr. Sparjan Raju for providing excellent training. District Sports Officer, SV Ramana also participated as another chief guest in this program. College Principal, Dr.R.Sriramulu Naidu presided over this program. GGH Superintendent Dr.Kameswarao appreciated RMC Principal Mr. Sriramula Naidu on paying interest towards sports. RMC Physical Trainer, Mr. PD Sparjan Raju stated that as a part of Annual Sports Day, various competitions were conducted from 12th to 28th of this month. Later, Chief Guest presented the prizes to the winners of various competitions. In this program, Sports Board Vice President Appala Naidu, Dr.Lakshmoji Naidu, Rangaraya College teaching and non-teaching staff and students participated.
