Anganwadi workers, on Monday, staged a protest infront of the District I.C.D.S Project Office in Kakinada. By demanding the Government to cancel circular memo 1940, they have conducted this protest. Speaking on this, the Anganwadi workers Union Leader Veeralakshmi grieved that the government is not considering the Anganwadi workers rights and not providing sufficient encouragement to the workers. Secretary Ramanamma, Anganwadi Workers and Union leaders were participated in this program. CPM City Secretary Mr. Palivela Veerababu supported the protest.
