Kakinada, Nov 5th: AMG India International has donated Rs 80 lakhs to the Government General Hospital (GGH), Kakinada for purchasing a C.T scanning machine costing about Rs 1.25 crores. AMG chief patron H.H. Deichmann presented a cheque to Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi at the Revenue Guest-house here on Thursday. Mr. Dwivedi thanked AMG India for extending financial support to various welfare activities in the district, including improvement of facilities in the GGH. AMG India had donated Rs 1.50 crores to GGH in the last few years for buying of new equipment and construction works.
Mr. Deichmann said he was happy to contribute for development of the GGH which caters to the needs of people from East and West Godavari districts. Joint Collector K Sasidhar, AMG India International Director Arun Kumar Mohanty, GGH Superintendent MBR Sharma, District Medical and Health Officer D Vijay Kumar, Rangaraya Medical College principal R Pratap, DRO M Mohan Raju and Kakinada RDO G.C. Kishore Kumar were among those present. Mr. Deichmann and his team have later visited the GGH and discussed its development with heads of various departments.
