There is opportunity for amendments in Ration Cards at E-seva Centres. The procedure for amendments in Ration Cards was kept on hold for last two months. White and Pink ration cards were sanctioned by conducting Iris examinations in the year 2005 and 2008 using software process. However, several errors occurred in those cards. For this, State Government provided chance to make amendments in Ration Cards in October last year. Again, Government has provided such opportunity. Total 10 E-seva centres were arranged in Kakinada and Rajahmundry Corporation. Two centres at Amalapuram, one center each at Tuni, Pitapuram, Samarlakota, Peddapuram, Ramachandrapuram and Mandapeta. Applications can be submitted for modifications in name, address, birth dates and for duplicate cards. Rs.28/- must be paid for white ration card and Rs.43/- for pink ration card at E-seva centre. After verification is completed, Rs.22/- must be paid to receive white card and Rs.32/- for pink ration card.
