Kakinada, Feb 4th: With the ongoing strike of the e-seva employees, the Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) has made alternate arrangements for the collection of electricity bills. In addition to the existing two, three more counters were arranged at the call center in the Kakinada power house. Four more counters were opened in addition to the existing one counter in the electricity revenue office (ERO).
The Kakinada call center has extended its services by working on Sundays and other public holidays from 8am to 7.30pm. Call center in charge and assistant divisional engineer of EPDCL, Ms. B. Rajeswari said that with the increasing rush they have opted for the additional counters. She said that with the arrangement of these additional counters nearly 2,500 to 3,000 costumers can avail the facility of paying the bills daily. Ms. Rajeswari also revealed that the costumers can pay the bills online at the website www.apeasternpower.com
