Kakinada, April 14th: Congress General Secretary, Mr. Rahul Gandhi is going to visit Kakinada for electioneering on April 16. District Congress authorities made elaborate arrangements for the same. All the arrangements including the erection of helipad were done for holding the public meeting at Achampeta Junction in Kakinada city suburbs.
According to the District Congress Committee President, Mr. Ch Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna, the SPG team has cleared the proposed site for holding the public meeting. District Police authorities headed by SP, Ms Charu Sinha inspected the site on Monday and had a look over the arrangements over there.
According to the souses, Rahul Gandhi will reach Madhurapudi airport by 11 am on April 16 and will participate in a public meeting at Rajahmundry. From there he is likely to reach Kakinada by a special aircraft and address a public meeting at Achempeta. He will leave for Rayalaseema area soon after addressing the Kakinada meeting. Authorities are hoping for good turnout for the meeting.
