Kakinada, Mar 27th: For the second schedule of nomination process to be initiated in the district on Saturday, the election authorities have made all the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the same. In this concern a review was organized by East Godavari district collector and the district returning officer Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi at district collectorate on Friday. Revenue and police officials attended the meeting.
Speaking at the review meeting collector ordered the officers to be alert and see that no code violation occurs. He revealed that while filing the nomination papers, along with the nominee, only four supporters will be allowed to the chamber of the returning officer and no permission will be given to the media to enter into the chamber. In addition to this, only 3 vehicles will be permitted into the premises.
Pallamraju files nomination today
Union minister of state for defence, Mr. Pallamraju is likely to file his nomination today. According to the information given by district congress party president Mr. P. Ramu, the minister will start from congress party office by 10 am on Saturday and will attend a meeting of party workers at the local Kala Venkatrao Bhavan at 11 am. From there he will leave for collectorate to file his nomination by 12.28pm. Pallamraju will contest for Kakinada parliamentary constituency seat.
