All set for CEEP entrance exam

Kakinada, April 28th: The district authorities have made elaborate arrangements for the polytechnic entrance exam to be held on April 29 i.e. today. From the district nearly 14,770 students are going to appear for this entrance exam. Out of the 42 examination centers arranged for the same at both Kakinada and Rajahmundry, 11,034 are going to write the exam at 32 centers arranged in Kakinada and 3,736 are going to appear for the exam at 10 centers in Rajahmundry. The exam will be held from 11am to 1pm.

 

The competition for this academic year is likely to decrease as the number of available polytechnic seats has been increased by 12,000. Previously the total seats available are 25,000 and this year the number has been increased to 37,000. This year web counseling was introduced. With this new system the counseling will be held through internet and the admission forms will be reaching the students communication address. B.K Surya Prakash, Andhra Polytechnic principal, Kakinada and G.V.V.S Ramavathi, Women’s College principal, Rajahmundry are appointed as coordinators.
