Dr.NTR Health University 15th Inter College Sports Competitions was concluded here on Thursday night at Rangaraya Medical College Indoor Auditorium. Rangaraya Medical College (RMC), Vishakapatnam won the All Round Sports Games Championship award and Games All Round Championship was won by Rangaraya Medical College (RMC), Kakinada. Sports All Round Championship was won by RIMS (Kadapa) Colleges. Personal All Round Championship was won by N.Jaswanth Reddy (RIMS, Kadapa). District SP Trivikrama Varma participated as chief guest in this program. Speaking on this, he stated that Medicos must put their continuous efforts to reach their goals in life. He also stated that apart from studies, students need to actively participate in sports. Sports builds team spirit among students, he added. He recalled his college days that he achieved several medals in Swimming. RMC Principal Dr. Sreeramulu Naidu presided over this program. He congratulated the winners of these 4-days competitions held. University Sports Secretary Trimurthy stated that Sports Quota will be considered from this year for admissions into PG according to Vice Chancellor. RMC Sports Board Vice Chairman Dr. M.Raghavendra, Secretary PD Sparjan Raju, Vice Principal Dr.Vijay Kumar, PET Association President Pappula Sriramachandramurthy and others were present.
