Kakinada, Mar 25th: East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi called upon the officials to be alert over the flow of fake currency in the district. A meeting in this concern was organized by him with the heads of all banks and police departments in the district. The officials were instructed to take necessary steps including awareness camps among masses to control the flow of currency. Collector revealed that the government has developed a unique security ink which can scan and differentiate between the real and fake ones. So he asked the bankers and the police to tell the public how to detect fake currency notes and the genuine notes released by the RBI. Andhra Bank DGM V.C Bhagapathi, Reserve Bank of India AGM M. Krishna Nanda, Ramprasad, S. Jagannatha Raja and others took part in the meeting.
