Aksharabhyasam to children

Rampachodavaram, June 18th: As part of Badi Bata program taken up by the state government to enroll kids in school, the Integrated Tribal Development (ITDA) project officer, Ms. Yogitha Rani performed Aksharabhyasam to the children on Thursday at G.V.V.K school. Speaking on the occasion she called upon the tribal parents to send their wards to schools without fail as it was their social responsibility to educate the children. She called for enrolling the children who crosses the age of five years in schools. As many as 20 children were given Aksharabhyasam on the day.

 

Later the Rajya Sabha member, T. Ratna Bai and the local MLA, Mr. Satyanarayana Reddy inaugurated the hostel building built at a cost of Rs 50 lakh for the benefit of the junior college students at Bornagudem. Satyanarayana said that construction of such hostels will provide proper accommodation for the students and he revealed that they were constructing another hostel at a cost of Rs 64 lakh for girls.
