Kakinada, Feb 19th: Additional Joint Collector, B. Ramarao made surprise visit of the management hostel for women, Jagannaickpur here on Friday. He inspected the working condition of the hostel including the mess and later inquired the students about the problems they were facing with the management and other factors. Few of the students alleged that they the management is not maintaining the sanitation facilities properly and in-charge warden is not taking any responsibility about the students.
Responding over the problems, AJC promised to appoint full-time warden for the hostel and ordered the Social Welfare Officer, Mr. Nageswara Rao to shift the hostel into new building were the minimum facilities can be provided for the students. He asked the students to form a committee and maintain the hostel in a systematic manner. He promised to take stringent action against the in-charge warden Hema Latha for not attending the duties for the past 3 months by submitting a notice to the East Godavari District collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi.
