Several people belonging to Public Union's, TDP and YSR Congress parties protested against power cuts in several areas in the district. Public Union's participated in this agitation held at 216 National Highway near Mummidivaram. Yesterday night active members of TDP also organised this protest at Pratap Nagar Electric Sub Station with torches lit by fuels. Some TDP members participated in the Dharna started near Peddhapuram demanding to stop power cuts and to eliminate electric subcharges under the control of Boddu Bhaskara Rao. Pithapuram YSR Congress members also started this protest yesterday under the control of Ex MLA and party leader Mr. P Dora Babu. They started a rally against power cut carrying torches lit by fuels from their party office in Pithapuram via Municipal office, Kotagummam Center and Uppad centers by litting Candels, Mosquito Coils and Lathers with Slogans against Government. Mr. Dora Babu demanded Government to come down to solve all the problems of the problems and consider demands of the public. District Youth Commity and several other party officials and members participated in this agitation.
