The Education Common Entrance Test (Ed.CET)-2013 Counselling is announced to be conducted from this Sunday, ie., 29th September 2013 but the counselling was not yet started in the District due to the Samaikyandhra agitation. JNTU-K, Andhra Polytechnic, GPT colleges were arranged for this counselling in the District but those managements were unable to conduct due to the protests of Samaikyandhra. It is noticed that all the remaining colleges in the State have started the counselling except our District. This decision disappointed all the parents and students who were present for the counselling from various places in the District. However, the AU Ed.CET Counselling Co-ordinator Mr. Nimmala Venkatrao said that the counselling would be held on Monday, at Ideal Engineering College in Kakinada, if the Government grants the permission by Tomorrow.
