Kakinada, Dec 15th: The ongoing stir for united Andhra Pradesh for the last five days is having its impact upon trade, business, industrial production, road and rail transport, educational institutions, financial transactions and markets causing crores of loss every day in both East and West Godavari districts. Though there was no major impact on industrial production especially with major units, minor and medium units are feeling the pinch of the agitations.

With the rail and road blockades all over the state, the industrialists fear that if such trend continues for a few more days, they may not be able to get the stocks of raw material and other supplies to run the units. Few of the industrialists maintain that they were ready to shut down their units even it causes revenue loss for a right cause. They demanded for united Andhra as it helps development of the entire state and strongly oppose small states. Money transactions in financial institutions including banks are also getting affected as they were unable to carry out regular transaction worth several crores daily.
