The Indian Meteorological department announced that, another cyclonic storm 'Lehar' is likely to be hit the East Godavari district by 28th of this month. As per the report, the 'Lehar' cyclone over Andaman Sea remained practically stationary and lay centred at 8.30 AM on Sunday about 230 km east-southeast of south-southeast of Port Blair. It would be emerge in South Eastern Bay of Bengal and intensify further gradually into a very severe cyclonic storm. The cyclones 'Phailin' and 'Helen' were caused extensive damages in the district. The loss was estimated as Rs. 1,018 crore till now in the district. Before getting the flood relief, there will be an another severe cyclonic storm to wish the district. On otherside, the authorities are gearing up to face another cyclonic storm in the same month. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.
