Advance booking for ''Arjitha Seva'

Tirumala, Feb 2nd: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer I Y R Krishna Rao on Wednesday said advance booking of 'Arjitha Seva' tickets would commence from March five. Addressing a press conference at Annamayya Bhavan here, he said 'Arjitha Seva' tickets of 'Suprabhatam,' 'Thomala' and 'Archana' could be booked 90 days in advance. The issue of tickets through the current booking centers would be canceled from March five, he added. The decision was taken by a four-member committee.

He said tickets for 'Melchal Vastram' and 'Poorabhisekham' were booked till 2031. It was also proposed to restrict the discretionary quota issued for ''Arjitha Seva'' to nearly 50 per cent. The tickets, available in the current booking centers in Tirumala, would be adjusted with E-Seva, internet and advance booking centers, he added.
