South Central Railway Vijayawada ADRM, Mr. S.Subbarao visited Kakinada Sea port here on Thursday. ARDM reached Samarlakota by Vishaka Express train here on Thursday morning. Later, by road, he reached to Kakinada Port Railway Station. He reviewed with the officials about the facilities provided for the passengers. Later, he reached Kakinada Sea port and examined the activities. He participated in a meeting with the officials at Kakinada Sea port and discussed about development of port, facilities yet to be provided, loading and unloading works. Later, he visited Nagarjuna Fertilizers, Cormandel Fertilizers factories and reviewed the work progress of railway track siding. Speaking to media persons, he stated that there is a good bringout of income through goods in Vijayawada Railway division. He visited Kakinada to look at the tendencies of works in Kakinada Sea port. He mentioned that, there would be rapidity in loading and unloading works related to various cargos in the port. KSPL CEO Prasad, Port Railway Station Manager Srinivas and other officers were present.
