Vijayawada Additional Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Subbarao made sudden inspection here on Tuesday at New Port Railway Station, Sambamurthy Nagar. He examined the newly constructed running room in the station. Due to his sudden scrutiny, officers were alarmed and moved here and there in panic. Every day, nearly 60 drivers and 60 guards make use of this running room. In this room, food facility, sleeping beds, reading rooms and other facilities were arranged. He initially examined the kitchen room and expressed dissatisfaction. He later visited bedrooms, dining halls, bathrooms, water storage tanks, solar equipments, AI officer room, CT room and other departments. Engineering, Electrical, Safety Divisional Officer and Port Railway Manager Srinivas Rao were present.
