Admissions for 6th, 7th classes in Gurukul schools across the district will be conducted for the year 2011-12 academic year. Additional Joint Collector Mr. B.Ramarao said this to this line here on Thursday. These admissions will be made for the Government Gurkul Schools in Kakinada, Amalapuram, Tuni, Bhupathipalem across the district. Applications for these admissions will be available at the respective schools until 14th of this month, he added. Applications must be submitted on or before 16th of this month at Vimukthi Building near RTC Complex, Kakinada. Selections will be made on 1st of June by lottery method in association with District Selection Committee. If seats are still available, the second selection will be made on 26th of June. At present, there are 76 vacant seats for 6th Standard and 61 vacant seats for 7th Standard.
