Admin Superintendent of Police (Admin SP), Mr. S.J Janardhan has been transferred and promoted to Hyderabad as ASP in CID, Mr. Janardhan was appointed as Admin SP of District on 31st January 2011. As he completed his tenure of two years, he has been transferred. However, according to the information given by inner source, transfer orders were passed only due to the complaints received by the police personnel. They faced lot of problems like various pending issues and Admin SP always ignored them. Due to this, representatives of police officers along with DGP, Mr. Aravind Rao complained against him. Rajahmundry Urban District SP P.Uma Pathi and Eluru Range DIG Surya Prakash Rao investigated on this. SP Office AO Prabhakar Rao was surrendered at DIG Office on this case. However, the appointment of new Admin SP has not been declared yet.
