Kakinada, May 13th: Students of Aditya IIT Talent School, Kakinada excelled in CEEP (Common Entrance Exam for Admission to Polytechnic) results that were declared on Wednesday. Mr. M.S.R.K Teja bagged first rank by scoring 116 out of 120 marks. Along with the first rank the school bagged 25 ranks below hundred. The second rank went to two students, Ms Ganta Ramyasree, and Mr. Payila Satya Raghava Aneesh both securing 113 marks each. Both are from West Godavari district.
A total of 1, 90,348 candidates appeared for the exam conducted on April 29. Out of the total, 1, 54,328 candidates qualified recording a pass percentage of 81.08. Girls pass percent is 86.97 while boys pass percent is recorded as 79.22. According to the commissioner of technical education, Mr. Premchandra Reddy, the rank cards will be dispatched to the candidates by May 25.
The admission schedule will be announced after the announcement of the SSC results and this year the admissions will be via web-based counseling. However the candidates will have to appear before officials for verification of certificates. Results of CEEP-2009 will be available on websites http://dteap.ac.in, http://manabadi.com and www.schools9.com.
