Volunteers of National Service Scheme (NSS) from Aditya Degree College conducted a survey on poor people's health here on Thursday at Ayodhya Nagar in Kakinada. The team of students from the NSS wing of the college visited nearly 150 houses in the area. According to the survey, as many as 76 persons residing in Ayodhya Nagar have been suffering from poor vision, 39 from skin allergies, and 48 from dental problems. The survey report also indicated that 48 women have gynecology problems. Speaking with media persons, Academic coordinator of the Aditya group Mr. B.E.V.L. Naidu said that the aim of the survey is to conduct a special health camp in the area to protect poor people from diseases. Along with the team, College Principal Mr. Mani Prakash, NSS Program officers Mr. Diwakar Rao, Mr. Tejaswara Rao and others participated in the survey.
