Collector, Mr. M. Ravi Chandra called upon the officials to get genuine information from the people on distribution of unique identity card ‘Adhar'. He conducted an Orientation program on ‘Adhar Project Execution’ meeting conducted on Saturday evening at Collectorate. According to this, Service Provider Organization Representative, Mr. Chidanandam had given a PowerPoint presentation on process of Adhar cards distribution. Mr. Ravi Chandra announced that Adhar Project Execution process have been completed and centers will be allotted to distribute cards through enrollment agencies. As many as 600 stations have been allocated all over the District for enrolling the citizens for issuing the cards. Of which, 10 stations each will be allotted to municipal corporations, five each to the municipalities, nine each to rural mandals and three stations each to agency mandals will be set up in the district. Each station will have to enroll 70 people a day and it must work five days a week. As part of the enrollment, a 14-column pro-forma has to be filled by the staff for each entry. On this process, Civil Supplies Department will act as Registrar and that he stated. Joint Collector, Mr. K.Sasidhar, Asst Joint Collector, Mr. Ramarao and others officials participated.
